About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for preschool and kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

 

Position Overview & Responsibilities
This is a part-time summer position as a long-term substitute for a physical therapist in our early intervention program. Responsible for working with early childhood students with developmental disabilities having motor or sensory- motor deficits on foundational skills. Also responsible for evaluation, task analysis, motor activities, design of accommodations, and consultation with staff, parents, and other professionals. Some indirect/consultative services may also be necessary for K-12 Extended School Year. For more information, please see the job description for this position.

Requirements & Qualifications
Master’s or doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy, Minnesota Department of Education board Licensure as a Physical Therapist. Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
 

Assignments 

Primarily early intervention/infant toddler services, with some indirect service in support of Extended School Year K-12.
