About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750+ employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district consists of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high 
school for grades 9-12.

 

Position Overview & Responsibilities

The American Indian Education Coordinator provides direct services and support to students, families, and staff. The purpose of this position is to help eliminate achievement disparities through oversight and implementation of the goals identified in the American Indian Education Aid Application. This is a part-time position which will work approximately 15 hours per week at a rate of $25/hour. Some nights and weekends may be required. The majority of the hours will be during the school year. Job Responsibilities:

Requirements & Qualifications

AAS or AA Degree Required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Demonstrable prior work experience in effectively communicating with culturally diverse students and families.
