About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

 

Position Overview & Responsibilities
Responsible for tutoring ELL students in order to be academically successful under the direction of the classroom teacher in either an individual or small group setting. For more information, please see the job description for this position.

 

Start date: 1/2/25
Contract: 185 days
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:10-2:00

 

Requirements & Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post secondary education or successful completion of the ParaPro; ability to work with staff to provide services to students with limited English language; proficiency in English required; ability to provide services to students in academic content areas; previous experience in working with limited English students or adults preferred; maintain confidentiality of student and family information as required under FERPA.
