About STMA Schools
We are a district that serves over 6,700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students, three elementary schools for grades 1-4, two middle schools for grades 5-8, and one high school for grades 9-12.

 

Position Overview & Responsibilities

Responsible for providing health services within the School Health Program including first aid to sick and injured students and staff and assisting with various health screenings; maintain confidentiality of student and family information as required under FERPA. Start Date: Immediate Opening
Contract: 192 days
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00-3:30 including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

FTE: 0.875 (35 hours per week)

 

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate: $20.35-$20.81 per hour, additional $4.00 per hour if LPN certified

Requirements & Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post secondary education; excellent clerical skills, experience in administering First Aid and CPR; Licensed Practical Nurse or comparable experience; have working knowledge of various medical equipment including but not limited to nebulizers, glucometers, glucagon, epi-pens, peak flow meters, audiometer, tympanonmeters, and inhalers possess respectful, empathetic listening and communication skills with students, families and staff
